Nocturnal Spring is a mural measuring 48’ x 16’ on the facade of a Starbucks Drive-Thru at 1500 Gillette Rd. Pomona, CA.
This project was commissioned by the City of Pomona and completed in March 2026.
The mural illustrates rare and common native plant and animal species of the local area, many of whom interact at night. It features a California Sister Butterfly, Golden Poppy flowers, Purple Lupine flowers, California Tree Frog,
Blue Heron, Desert Bluebell flowers, Humboldt Lily, Allen’s Hummingbird, Coyote, Desert Cottontail Rabbit, Prickly Pear Cactus, Fiddleneck flower, Datura flower, and a White-Lined Sphinx Moth.
