Carly Lake is a visual artist from Los Angeles, CA. She loves to draw and make illustrations for books and print. Her art practice also incorporates ceramic sculpture, fiber art, zines, and comics. In her multidisciplinary practice, Lake explores the cross sections between environment, cultural histories, and personal identity. She is most interested in the transformations of human interaction with land over time, how we relate to our natural locality, and how to cultivate a profound relationship to land and to self.
